Any state — including Hawaii and Alaska. The band is based in the Washington DC / Maryland area and plays up and down the east coast constantly, but a wedding a long way from home is a normal booking, not an exotic one. What changes is the logistics, and those are worth understanding before you ask anyone for a number.
Most couples assume a travelling band means flying a dozen people across the country, and stop there because it sounds unaffordable. It does not have to work that way.
The bandleader and the two or three players who carry the sound of your night fly in. The rest of the section comes from local professionals, working from our charts and our arrangements, with a rehearsal before the wedding.
You get the same leader, the same singer, the same setlist and the same arrangements — at a fraction of the travel cost.
Everyone flies. This is what you book when the room is large, the dancing is the whole point, or you want the exact group you heard on a recording.
It costs more and it is worth saying so plainly: flights, rooms and a travel day for each player.
Ask for both. We will quote them side by side so the difference is a decision you make, not a surprise.
If your wedding is Shabbos-adjacent, the band cannot simply fly in that morning and out that night, and any band that says otherwise has not thought it through. In practice that means arriving well before candle-lighting, staying local over Shabbos, and travelling home Sunday. Kosher food and walking distance to the venue become part of the booking conversation rather than an afterthought.

Some of our weddings have a mechitza and separate dancing. Plenty are mixed, with everyone on the floor from the hora onward. Orthodox, Modern Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Israeli, interfaith — all of it is normal work for us, and none of it gets a watered-down version of the night.
And in every case it is the same offer: the Jewish music played properly, and a real American dance set — Motown, classic rock, funk, soul, jazz — from the same live band, with a horn section, and no DJ swapped in halfway through.
Most couples land on 5–7 pieces (rhythm section, keys, a horn or two, vocalist) or 10–13 with a full horn section for a big room. Smaller groups for the ceremony and cocktail hour; chamber and strings available for the processional.
