Please note
Sound — PA, live mixing, engineers, and stage gear — is not included in the standard band booking. It's an optional add-on through a third-party sound company, coordinated under our auspices and quoted as a separate line item at additional cost. Many clients prefer this for the convenience of one point of contact; others bring their own sound vendor — both are fine.
If you'd like us to coordinate the sound for you, we can spec and arrange complete sound and production through trusted third-party vendors — whether it's an a cappella group, an electronic setup, a full band in concert, or a hybrid format. This service is quoted separately from the band itself.
We handle the coordination with our sound partners so you don't have to source another vendor on your own. The result: one point of contact, one clean setup, one polished sound — matched to the size and style of your event — with the sound cost itemized clearly alongside the band.
Sized to your venue — intimate ballroom to outdoor concert. Add-on.
Experienced engineers running clean, balanced sound throughout. Add-on.
Mics, monitors, DI boxes, cabling — all of it handled. Add-on.
Specialty rigs for vocal-only events or fully electronic setups. Add-on.
Tell us about your event — venue, expected guest count, format. We'll spec the right rig with our sound partners and quote it as a separate add-on alongside the band. You're also welcome to bring your own sound vendor.
Ask About Sound (Add-On)We can also book your photography and videography under our auspices — working with trusted professionals so the music, the moments, and the memories all come together seamlessly.
Full-day coverage from kabbalat panim through the last dance. Albums, prints, and a complete edited gallery — handled end-to-end.
Cinematic highlight reels and full-length documentation. Multi-camera setups for ceremony and reception, with professional audio capture.
Photo and video packages tuned to the rhythm of the day — service, party, family portraits, and all the candid moments in between.

Date auto-cross-referenced against Hebcal so you can only pick valid days. Non-refundable deposit by Zelle, card, PayPal, or Venmo. Sets up a call to finalize details.
Send a request to discuss more before any deposit — we'll talk through your vision, band size, and pricing, then decide together. No commitment until you're ready.
Use the memo: Deposit M/D/YYYY (e.g. Deposit 6/15/2026). Then pick your date below and schedule a call.
A non-refundable deposit reserves your date — any upcoming weekday or Sunday. Shabbos, Yom Tov, and Tisha B'Av (9 Av — Godwilling soon to become a Yom Tov of rejoicing with the coming of Moshiach!) are excluded for any band booking. For a cappella, since it's halachically permissible to sing without instruments on Shabbos and Yom Tov, a-cappella bookings are allowed for Shabbos and Yom Tov (Tisha B'Av is still off limits for booking a performance).* Book up to a year out. The deposit amount scales with band size, starting at $1,000 for up to 5 pieces. Final pricing is always discussed directly — we factor in day of the week, location, hours, and what you envision.
*If you're considering an a-cappella kumzitz on a sensitive day, please consult a competent rav first.
If there's suitable accommodation right where the event is — the simcha held at a hotel, a hotel right near the venue, or a private home nearby where I could comfortably stay — my availability opens up considerably for performing closer to Shabbos: a little pre-Shabbos ruach as Friday winds down, or a musical havdalah on Motzei Shabbos. A musical havdalah is a lovely post-Shabbos performance — a few soulful moments as Shabbos departs that carry its spirit and calm gently into the week ahead.
Similarly, if sound gear is booked by a third-party sound company — either arranged under my auspices or on your end — so I'm not personally shlepping equipment, even more of the time around Shabbos becomes available, with the same warmth and care.
As a Shabbos-observant musician and bandleader, I'll work out the exact timing with you personally so it flows smoothly and beautifully for everyone. Just let me know what you have in mind — the accommodation, and who's handling the sound — and we'll plan a lovely flow together.
Mention the details in your booking note or message and we'll take it from there.
Your deposit is fully guaranteed. Once your date is reserved, Godwilling you will have a Ratzon Orchestra band on that day — either I'll be there personally, or I'll book the right musicians for you under my auspices. I've built and worked with a deep network of seasoned, top-tier players over many years, and I personally hand-pick every musician based on your preferences and the feel of your event. Same standard, same care, every time.
What the deposit does: it holds your date — nothing more, nothing less. The full balance, exact band makeup, hours, sound/photo/video add-ons, and any special requests are all worked out directly between you and the band operator after the deposit is in. No final number is locked in until we've talked it through together.
The deposit is non-refundable but is credited toward your event's final balance. Final pricing depends on band size, format, and any additions like sound, photo/video, or on-site recording — all discussed by phone or email, never on this page.
Two paths, depending on what you need. Pick one, and the date picker will show only the days that work for it.
Since gigs and musical engagements booked through the site are a step less personal than a direct conversation, every site-booking gets a 24-hour confirmation window for me to personally check the date and lock things in. If anything — scheduling, halacha, the right players for the night — needs me to redirect the booking, you'll hear from me within 24 hours and get a full refund. After 24 hours your date is officially confirmed and the deposit is non-refundable as described above.
Naturally, if a deposit comes in during a 2- or 3-day Yom Tov (or back-to-back Shabbos + Yom Tov), the 24-hour clock simply starts the first chol hour after Yom Tov ends. Either way you're covered — my goal is to make sure every event booked here gets the same care as one we'd plan over the phone.
Tiered deposit by band size — starts at $1,000 for up to 5 pieces. Fewer than 5? Show options
Optional strings/chamber add-on — $1,000 for 3 pieces, +$250 each piece beyond. See clips & examples →
* These deposit amounts are for booking online through the site. If we speak directly, pricing can flex with the particulars of your event — venue, timing, distance, format, sound & staging needs, and what you envision. Final balance is always worked out together over a call.
Once you pick a valid weekday or Sunday, payment instructions will appear here.
