Built for a multi-generational room.

A bar or bat mitzvah is a rare kind of simcha — grandparents, parents, and a room full of twelve- and thirteen-year-olds, all on the same dance floor. Ratzon Orchestra is built for exactly that. We open with the Jewish music that gives the day its meaning and ruach, then read the room and bring the energy the kids came for.

Because our musicians play authentic American music as naturally as they play Jewish music, we can move from a soulful hora into a clean, high-energy American dance set without missing a beat — no separate DJ required, though a DJ is available as a premium add-on if you want one.

One band, every part of the day.

Ruach & Simcha Dancing

The hora, the freilach, the Israeli sets — the heart of the simcha, played with real energy and feel.

American Dance Sets

Motown, classic rock, funk, Latin, Top 40 and current hits (clean edits) that get the kids and the whole room moving. Custom set lists welcome on request.

Cocktail & Dinner

Tasteful background sets — jazz standards and instrumental Jewish music — while guests mingle and eat.

Ceremony & Special Moments

Hachnasas sefer Torah, candle-lighting, a featured song for the bar/bat mitzvah — coordinated to your program.

Questions people ask.

Do you play both Jewish and American music at a bar mitzvah?
Yes — that is our specialty. The live band plays authentic Jewish music and authentic American music (Motown, rock, funk, Latin, clean contemporary), so you get the ruach and the party energy from one band. A DJ is available as a premium add-on if you specifically want one.
How many musicians should I book for a bar or bat mitzvah?
Most bar/bat mitzvahs work beautifully with 5 to 8 pieces, but we scale from a small combo up to a 30-piece orchestra depending on your venue, guest count, and the sound you want. We will help you choose.
Can you keep the music clean and age-appropriate for the kids?
Absolutely. We use clean edits and curate the American sets to be appropriate for a Jewish simcha and a young crowd, while still bringing real energy.
Is sound included?
For normal halls and hotel ballrooms, the band brings its own modest, professional PA at no extra charge. For very large or outdoor venues, or a full sound-company production under our auspices, that is an optional upgrade quoted separately.
Do you travel for bar and bat mitzvahs?
Yes — tri-state, Florida, the DMV, and worldwide. Travel is factored into the quote based on location.
Who leads the band?
Jeremy Gaisin (Yirmi G) leads Ratzon Orchestra and hand-picks the musicians for your event. When Jeremy cannot be there personally, he books and directs the right players under Ratzon Orchestra auspices to the same standard.
